At Mindful Waters, our mission is clear: to establish an inclusive and inviting environment where our community can nurture their personal well-being. We are committed to offering wellness solutions that not only feel good but are also scientifically grounded and environmentally friendly. Embracing the Oxygen Mask Theory, we advocate for self-care as a means to better care for others. Our dedication extends to maintaining a luxurious and hygienic space, fostering an atmosphere for relaxation, restoration, and renewal. Through our studio classes, we encourage the exchange of ideas and the pursuit of knowledge. Recognizing humans as water beings, we deeply value the significance of staying hydrated with fresh, clean water, and strive to make it accessible and affordable to all through our solutions.

Our Leadership

Amy Hyde, the Co-Founder of Mindful Waters, along with her partner Carl Pate, established this haven for personal wellness and recovery. Amy's roots in water trace back to her upbringing in Michigan, and her athletic aptitude found expression at Kenyon College in Ohio, where she majored in Biology, excelled as an All American Swimmer, and co-captained the 1984 NCAA National Championship Swim Team under the mentorship of Jim Steen—a visionary coach emphasizing holistic performance strategies.

Jim Steen's teachings encompassed strength training, intentional nutrition, recovery, breathwork, visualization, and mental focus, which proved instrumental in Amy's athletic success. Despite initially intending to pursue medical school post-college, Amy's journey led her to New York, where she embraced a career in the apparel industry, particularly with Ralph Lauren. Balancing the demands of corporate life, commuting, and raising two boys, Amy faced a turning point in 2007 when diagnosed with Stage 3 Colon Cancer. Responding swiftly and resolutely, she overcame the challenge.

In 2015, with her children grown and the apparel industry undergoing changes, Amy seized the opportunity for a "third life." This time, the focus shifted towards helping others and delving into a deeper understanding of biology and human health. Collaborating with Carl, she envisioned and brought to life Mindful Waters—a platform dedicated to educating and serving the community. Mindful Waters seeks to provide primary care through purified water and contemporary interpretations of ancient therapies, proven to alleviate stress and promote physical and mental well-being.
